Beam weapons are one of the three weapon types used in Galactic Civilizations III. Beam weapons are mid-range (1000), moderate cooldown (3) and 100% accurate. Their defensive counter is shields.
The starship blueprints system will create specific designs that are armed just with beam weapons.
